Bangladesh Women's team restricted England Women to 118 for seven wickets in the sixth match of ICC Womens T20 World Cup 2024 at Sharjah Cricket Stadium in Sharjah on Saturday.
The bowlers in Red and Green jersey did an excelent job as they never let England off the hook on a track that slowed down and assisted the slower bowlers a lot.
The middle phase of the innings was where Bangladesh wrested the control back. Wyatt-Hodge and Bouchier had managed to end the powerplay on a high. And then the likes of Rabeya, Nahida, Fahima came to the party and dominated in the England's batting order to restrict them for 118.
However, this is still by no means an easy chase as England have quite an enviable spin attack.
Earlier, England Women have won the toss and opted to bat first against Bangladesh.
