Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus visited Dhaka University (DU) on Wednesday to view the graffiti drawn by young revolutionaries during the student-led mass protests in July and August.
The artwork, which adorns the walls of the campus, has become a symbol of the youth-driven movement for change.
Prof Yunus was accompanied by Law Adviser Dr. Asif Nazrul, Special Assistant Mahfuj Alam, Information and Broadcasting Adviser Nahid Islam, and Youth and Sports Adviser Asif Mahmud during the visit.
In his previous remarks, Prof Yunus emphasized the historical importance of the graffiti, which captures the emotions, hopes, and dreams of the students and youth who took part in the uprising. Dhaka, now often referred to as the "Graffiti Capital," saw its walls transformed into powerful canvases where artists expressed their revolutionary messages through slogans, poetry, and imagery.
The graffiti serves as a visual reflection of the spirit of the protests and the youth's aspirations for a discrimination-free and inclusive Bangladesh.
