Bangladesh make one change in lineup for SAFF Final

British coach Peter Butler has opted to bring back Shamsunnahar Junior, who has recovered from her injury, in place of Sagarika, who had played in the semi-final.

Bangladesh, the defending champions, won their first SAFF title in 2022, defeating Nepal on home soil. Krishna Rani Sarkar, who scored twice in that final, is on the team but due to her current form and fitness level, she will be available as a substitute.

The final, started at 6:45 PM Bangladesh time, presents Nepal with another chance to claim the SAFF title�a feat they have yet to achieve. With their star player Sabitra Bhandari back in the lineup, Nepal has high hopes, although they�ll miss Rekha, who received a red card in the semi-final.

Unlike other international tournaments, SAFF�s knockout stages skip extra time, going directly to a tiebreaker if the match ends in a draw. Nepal advanced to the final after a penalty shootout win over India, while Bangladesh delivered a commanding 7-1 victory over Bhutan in the semi-final.
