Press Ministers to BD missions in London, Delhi appointed

 
The government has appointed senior journalist Akbar Hossain Majumder and Faisal Mahmud as press ministers to the Bangladesh High Commission in the United Kingdom and in New Delhi respectively.

The Ministry of Public Administration issued separate notifications announcing their appointments on a two-year contractual basis on Sunday.
The appointments are subject to the condition that they relinquish any existing affiliations with other professions, businesses, or roles in government, semi-government, private institutions, or organisations.

The appointments will take effect from the date of their joining, as stated in the notification, according the Foreign Ministry.
