Afroza Naznin Shumi awarded on Chefs Day

Afroza Naznin Shumi, owner of Shumi's Kitchen, was awarded for her selfless contribution towards the causes of "Growing Great Chefs" at a glorious ceremony organised by Chefs Federation of Bangladesh  at Radisson Blu Water Garden Dhaka on Chef's Day 2024. The Chief Guest of this event was Saudi Arabian Ambassador to Bangladesh Issa bin Youssef.

The Chef Federation of Bangladesh's (CFB) goal is to unite chefs and cooks across Bangladesh with a mutual dedication to professional excellence. This organization's primary mission is to promote the education of all culinarians, current culinary techniques and preserving the history and skills of the craft.

This award is given to chefs nationwide based on their talent, skill, and initiative.

"Any achievement increases interest in the work," says awardee Shumi.

Shumi is currently working in entrepreneurship development as a board member of Bangladesh's "Federation of Women Entrepreneurs" and "Women Entrepreneurs Association", and as a member of the "E-Commerce Association of Bangladesh" and "Bangladesh Women Chamber of Commerce".
