Inu, Salman 3 others shown arrested in murder and murder attempt cases

Hasanul Haque Inu, Salman F Rahman and three others were shown arrested in fresh cases filed over murders and murder attempt that took place during student-led July-August mass uprising.

The three other arrested are- Shahjahan Khan, Zunaid Ahmed Palak and Atiqul Islam.

Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Sharifur Rahman passed the orders on Monday as police produced the five accused before the court and pleaded to show them arrested in the cases.

According to the sources, Salman F Rahman and Palak were shown arrested in a murder cases filed with the Mirpur Model Police Station, Shahbagh Police Station respectively. Shahjahan Khan and Hasanul Haque Inu were shown arrested in a murder case filed with Hatirjheel Police Station, and Gulshan Police Station respectively.

Besides, former Dhaka North City Corporation mayor Atiqul Islam was shown arrested in attempt to murder case and murder cases filed with the Airport Police Station and Uttara West Police Station respectively.
