Truck driver killed in Savar road accident

A truck driver was killed and another injured in a road accident at Dhamrai Police Station in Savar upazila early Tursday.

The accident took place around 4:45 am on the Dhaka-Aricha highway in the upazila.

However, the identity of the deceased could not be known.

It was learnt that the accident happened in the area when the truck driver lost control over the steering and skidded off the road and hit a roadside railing, leaving the driver dead on the spot

The injured was taken to Dhamrai upazila health complex.
