Bangladeshi national found dead along Chuadanga border

The body of a man was recovered from Chuadanga's border region in Darshana upazila on Wednesday.

The deceased was identified as Nazim Uddin, 38, son of Ershad Ali from South Chandpur in Darshana municipality.
Darshana Police Station officer-in-charge Shahid Titumir confirmed the recovery.

Nazim's elder brother informed the police that the body was found at Ishwarchandra field, approximately 200 yards from the Zero Point on the Bangladesh-India border, in the morning, said the OC.

Later, police recovered the body and sent it to the Chuadanga General Hospital morgue for an autopsy. Legal proceedings were underway regarding the matter, the OC added.

Following the recovery, Lt. Col Md Rafiq, commandant of the BGB Battalion-58 in Moheshpur, said that being informed, he visited the spot.
