Sudanese citizen held in Feni for intrusion

An Sudanese citizen was arrested from Kalikapur border area under Parshuram upazila in Feni while trespassing into Bangladesh from India on Monday.

The arrested is Eslam, 26, wife of Hamed, originally from Kartam Beri in Sudan. 

Confirming the matter, Feni BGB-4 lieutenant colonel Mohammad Mosarraf Hossain said a patrol team of BGB from Nijkalikapur BOP, arrested Eslam from Bangladeshi teritory near pillar no 2159/1-S while she attempted to enter the country through India.

BGB also recovered 100 US dollars, a mobile phone, 30 Indian rupees and two bags from her possession, he added.
