Training workshop held for Bhola fishermen

A training workshop for local fishermen was held at Lalmohan upazila in Bhola district on Tuesday.

The event, organized by the Upazila Fisheries Department, was held under the supervision of Sustainable Costal and Marine Fisheries project at Lalmohan officers club in the morning.

With the attendance of 25 fishermen, the training workshop was organized aiming to train the techniques of post-harvest handling and preservation of fish.

Bhola Fisheries Officer Bishwajit Kumar Deb   presided over the workshop while Barishal Fisheries Department Deputy Director Nripendranath Bishwas was present as the chief guest.

Lalmohan upazila marine fisheries officer Saidur Rahman; deputy project director of sustainable costal and marine fisheries project Azharul islam and  upazila fisheries officer Ali Ahmed Akhand were also present at the workshop.
