BSF returns Bangladeshi farmer after 6hr of detention

India�s Border Security Force (BSF) personnel returned a Bangladeshi farmer after kept him in their custody for six hours, following a flag meeting on Friday.

The farmer, Al Amin Raju, was detained from Biral border area inside Bangladeshi territory in Dinajpur district while heading to his farmland.

Locals said that Raju was working on his own farmland besides pillar no 323 at Biral Enayetpur border�s Dipnagar village around Friday 9 AM. While BSF personnel allegedly detained him and took to their camp. After the incident, Raju�s family members informed Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) immediately. 

Local sources also said that flag meeting between BGB and BSF held around 3:30 PM near zero point of main pillar no 323 on the same day and returned Raju.

The flag meeting was led by Dinajpur 42th BGB Battalion commander Lt Col Ahsan-ul-Islam from Bangladesh side and 90th BSF commanding officer Bipin Kumar from Indian side.
