'International Day of Education' celebrated in Gopalganj

The 63rd International Day of Education was celebrated at Kotalipara upazila in Gopalganj district on Friday. 

The event, under the theme of �Education for sustainable development and peace�, was organized by Moddho o Dokkhin Bangladesh Shishu Unnayon Prokalpo -Kandi (BD0356).

The celebration began with a rally from the project�s Kandi office to Kandi High School. The event aimed to raise awareness about preventing school dropouts and the launch of �Cholo School e Jai� campaign.

The program was led by project manager Ripon Kunda, with the participation of the project committee Chairman Peter Mondal and other members, as well as the acting headmaster of  Kandi High School, Noni Gopal Joydhar. 

As part of the campaign, a series of initiatives for students will be launched until February 2025, along with the distribution of educational and health materials to each registered children. 

The conclusion of day�s activity was announced with giving lunch to every child.
