RU hons 1st year classes to begin on January 17

The classes of first year courses of Rajshahi University (RU) under 2016-17 academic session will begin on January 17 onwards.
A press statement issued by Associate Professor Mashihur Rahman, administrator of RU public relation office, confirmed the matter.
The admission process of the university will be ended on January 3.
Earlier, the first year classes of the university were scheduled to start from January 1.
Mentionable, this year around 1,78,949 candidates sat for the admission test under nine faculties and two institutes of the university. Of them, some 4,713 students have been selected for admission.
