Tax amount of Tk 1.25cr collected in Lalmohan fair

Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) and Municipal Administrator Md Shah Aziz confirmed the collection on Monday.

Earlier, the fair started in January 20, marking as the first time of the upazila�s history, for four days to collect the due taxes from the area. However, the tax payers requested to extend the fair two more days. Later, they have been given opportunity to pay their outstanding taxes with 15 percent discount. 

Meanwhile, the authority arranged raffle draws and 10 tax payers became the winner. They were awarded with price-bond amount of Tk 10 thousands.
