25 injured including 6 shot in N'ganj

The clash took place at Saoghat area of the upazila around 11:30 AM in the morning. 

According to witnesses, there was a longstanding dispute between two groups over a dispute of taking possession of a warehouse at Saoghat area. Though, the Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Saiful Islam called several from the both sides and resolved the dispute. On Tuesday morning, one of the groups targeted another with bricks, cocktails and bullets which subsequently turned into a clash. At least 25 individuals sustained injuries from the both sides.

During the clash, they also brought out vandalism to an office and set fire on 10 motorcycles, a private car.

Being informed, a firefighting unit rushed there and brought the fire under control. The injured were rescued and taken to different hospitals for treatment.

Narayanganj Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Mehedi Islam confirmed the incident, adding, "Drives are underway to arrest involved individuals."
