Man 'commits suicide' over loan dispute

The deceased was identified as Abdul Jalil Hawlader, 55, of Teliakhali union in the upazila.

In the early hours of Tuesday, locals found Abdul Jalil was hanging from the ceiling of his house and informed police.

Locals also alleged that there had been a dispute between the victim and his son Solaiman over taking a loan amount of Tk 50 thousands from an NGO in his father�s name.

The dispute may lead to the incident, they added.

Bhandaria Police Station officer-in-charge Md Ahmed Anwar confirmed incident, adding that the body was sent to Pirojpur General Hospital morgue for autopsy and a case has been filed in this regard.
