A man was killed in a collision between two trucks at Nandigram upazila in Bogura on Friday.
The accident took place on the Bogura-Natore highway at Ranbagha bus stoppage of the upazila.
Claiminig the dense fog as the main cause of the accident, locals said that a Bogura-bound fish carrying truck collided head-on with a Natore-bound sand filled truck due to poor visibility. The impact left the fish-laden truck helper dead on the spot and two others critically injured.
The injured were rescued and taken to the nearby hospital, they said.
Kundarhat Police Station officer-in-charge Monwaruzzaman said the identities of the deceased could not be known immediately and the legal actions are being taken in this regard.
