BNP holds meeting with Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam

The Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) held a meeting with the top leaders of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam to discuss the current political situation, election strategies, and future movements. 

The meeting took place on Friday evening at the BNP Chairperson�s office in Gulshan.  

Prior to this, BNP leaders had a separate hour-long meeting with the leaders of the 12-party alliance. BNP Media Cell member Shairul Kabir Khan confirmed the information.  

The meeting was attended by BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir and BNP Standing Committee member Nazrul Islam Khan. Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam was represented by its Secretary General Mufti Golam Muhyuddin Ikram, Executive Vice President Maulana Abdur Rahim Islamabadi, Senior Vice President Shaikhul Hadis Allama Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, Vice Presidents Maulana Shahidul Islam and Jamal Naser Chowdhury, Joint Secretary Generals Maulana Abdul Malik Chowdhury and Maulana Abdul Haque Kawsari, Assistant Secretary General Maulana Rashid Bin Wakkas, and Organizational Secretary Mufti Zakir Hossain Khan.  

The meeting focused on coordinating the next steps of their joint movement and shaping political strategies for the upcoming period.
