3 of a family killed in Sirajganj road mishap

The deceased were Shafiqul Islam, 35, his wife Sumona Khatun, 30, and his sister Lucky Akter,25, from East Baoitara village under Sayedabad union of the upazila. 

Jamuna Bridge West Police Station officer-in-charge (OC) Anwarul Islam confirmed the incident, saying, �Around 7 PM on Friday, an auto-van carrying six passengers was crossing the highway at Mulibari Flyover area when a Dhaka-bound bus rammed the van and fled. The couple died on the spot. Later, another member of the family died after being taken to the hospital.�
