Youth's body found lying on road in Feni

The body of a young was recovered from the side of the road in Feni's Chhagalnaiya upazila on Wednesday.

Police recovered the body from the side of the road near Dakshin Satar High School in the morning.

The dead Belal Hossain Mosaddir, 21, son of Mintu Mosaddir, a resident of Dakshin Satar village under Chhagalnaiya Municipality.

The deceased's father Mintu Mosaddir said that Belal worked at a grocery shop of Chagalnaiya market. He came home at 10 pm on Tuesday (February 25) as usual. An hour later, he went to the shop next to the house but did not return. After Fajr prayers on Wednesday, people in the area saw Belal's body on the side of the road and informed police.

Chhagalnaiya Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Nazrul Islam said, "There are no injury marks on the body. We have inspected the scene and brought the body to the police station. The body will be sent to the Feni General Hospital morgue for autopsy."
