Passenger bus catches fire in Ctg

A fire broke out in a passenger bus in the New Market area of Chittagong city on Sunday evening.

The incident took place at the around 7 pm on Sunday. 

According to locals, the fire broke out in the standing bus near New Market intersection suddenly. Passengers inside the bus immediately got out.

Later, locals informed the fire service. 

Being informed by the locals, two units from Nandankanan Fire Station reached the spot and brought the fire under control.

Chittagong Fire Service control room official confirmed the incident and said that there were no casualties.
