The Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) is set to announce its election manifesto within the next week, focusing on a 31-point program as its main foundation. The manifesto will also highlight ten special packages, including family cards, farmer cards, corruption-free healthcare, and job-oriented education.

A senior BNP leader, speaking on condition of anonymity, said the manifesto was finalized some time ago and is now being adjusted to reflect regional needs. The party plans to officially unveil it at a public meeting in Chittagong on Sunday, the source added.

BNP Standing Committee member Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury told the media that the manifesto includes numerous programs aimed at allowing every citizen to participate in economic activities. He said it reflects the hopes and aspirations of the people that have emerged following the removal of what the party calls "fascist rule."

Amir Khasru also emphasized that BNP plans to reform the current economic model to ensure equal opportunities for all citizens. The 31-point program will be the driving force behind these reforms, with additional services, such as family cards, to be delivered efficiently through proper use of the national budget.

Mahdi Amin, adviser to BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman and spokesperson for the Central Election Steering Committee, told The Daily Observer that the manifesto is ready and awaiting formal publication at the appropriate time.

BNP officially launched its election campaign in Sylhet on January 22, alongside the release of the party's official theme song. Meanwhile, BNP-nominated candidates across the country are presenting their own promises to voters in their respective constituencies, ahead of the national election.
