C'wealth Observer Mission head happy over election

The Head of the Commonwealth Election Observer Mission and former President of Ghana William Nana Akufo-Addo on Thursday expressed satisfaction over the environment of Bangladesh's National Parliamentary Election and referendum after visiting a polling centre in the capital.

After visiting polling activities at Viqarunnisa Noon School in the capital, the Head of the Commonwealth Election Observer delegation expressed his satisfaction.

Akufo-Addo said that, so far, the voting environment has been very good and that he is very satisfied.
He noted that he observed peaceful voting at the polling center and expressed hope that the voting process would remain peaceful across the country.

The Commonwealth Election Observer Mission, led by former Ghanaian President William Nana Akufo-Addo, is observing Bangladesh's 13th National Parliamentary Election.
