Unidentified body found dead in Savar

Police recovered a body of an unidentified man from a jungle area beside the Dhaka–Aricha Highway in Savar on Monday afternoon.

The identity of the deceased is yet to be known.

According to locals, they found a body near the opposite side of the main gate of BPATC and informed police.

On information, police recovered the body and sent it to Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College Hospital for an autopsy.

Savar Model Police Station inspector (Investigation) Nur Mohammad confirmed the recovery and said that Police Bureau of Investigation (PBI) has been informed to ascertain the victim’s identity.

The exact cause of death will be determined after receiving the autopsy report, added the official.
