Prime Minister Tarique Rahman formally began his official activities at the Prime Minister's Office for the first time on Saturday (February 21).
The Prime Minister arrived at the PMO in Tejgaon at 10:10AM, where he was accorded a warm reception by senior officials and staff members.
Before entering the main building, he exchanged greetings with officials and staff who had served during the tenure of former Prime Minister Khaleda Zia.
At the Tejgaon office courtyard, the Prime Minister planted a Golden Champa flower sapling and offered special prayers of gratitude.
Defence Adviser Brigadier General Dr. A K M Shamsul Islam, PSC, G (Retd.), among other senior officials were present there.
