The Albiceleste has found an opponent and will play at home on March 31.

The uncertainty in the Argentine National Team has ended. After the cancellation of the Finalissima against Spain, Lionel Scaloni and his coaching staff have already decided how the team's training week will be, as they will only be able to play a friendly match.

Finally, the Albiceleste will not travel anywhere and will stay at the AFA grounds to complete a week of training, awaiting a friendly match against the Guatemala National Team, scheduled for March 31, with the stadium to be confirmed.

"See you in Argentina! After the cancellation of the Finalissima, Lionel Scaloni's team will travel to the country for a week of intense collective work and play a friendly match on Tuesday the 31st against Guatemala. In the coming days, the work schedule, the call-ups for this FIFA date, and the stadium will be announced," reported the Argentine National Team on its official website.

In the coming days, Scaloni will announce the final list of call-ups, who will join the training sessions starting next week in the last FIFA date before the World Cup. There, the coach will finalize his decisions to form the 26 called-up players.

Considering this list, it is expected that the coach will take into account the players he has been calling up recently. One of the uncertainties will be the presence of Lautaro Martínez, as he continues to recover from a muscle injury that has troubled him since February.

Argentina will arrive at the World Cup without facing European teams

Due to the cancellation of the Finalissima, the Argentine National Team will have an unusual preparation for the World Cup as they have not faced any European opponents since the end of the World Cup. Their last match against a team from the old continent was against France in Qatar 2022.
