Adam Chowdhury brings bronze for country

Bangladesh-born London based Karateka Adam Chowdhury has set proud milestone for the country as the first karateka by winning two bronze medals in the World Karate Federation (WKF) Youth League now being held in Harare Zimbabwe.

He won bronze medals in both junior kata and 61-kg kumi category which is a historic achievement for the country. A total of 237 participants from 37 countries across the glove took part in the meet.

Earlier, he won gold medal in cadet kumi and bronze medal in cadet kata in the 11th Commonwealth Karate Championship held in Durban South Africa in 2024.     "BSS
