Aminul Haque, State Minister for Youth and Sports, underscored the transformative influence of sports, noting that structured physical and mental development can reshape family, social and state systems with lasting impact.

He shared these views during his inaugural visit to the Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Protisthan (BKSP), where the Director General of the Institution received him cordially.

The State Minister observed training activities at the gymnasium and enjoyed coordinated displays spanning 21 disciplines, reflecting the institute's broad-based development model. He later toured key venues and held direct conversations with trainees, taking stock of facilities and welfare provisions.

Expressing satisfaction with the Institutes overall performance, he provided guidance aimed at strengthening infrastructure and ensuring the institute remains aligned with modern sporting demands. The visit also carried a personal note, as the Minister revisited memories of his own training days and warmly acknowledged long-serving staff member Sufia, praising her enduring commitment.

Emphasising respect for contributors who have shaped BKSP's journey, he remarked that their service would be remembered with honour. He concluded by urging all stakeholders to work in tandem to lift Bangladesh's sporting standards onto the global stage.
