The Ministry of Foreign Affairs released a statement welcoming the ceasefire and calling on all parties engaged in the conflict to honor the agreement and leverage the resulting window for constructive engagement.

Dhaka voiced hope that the pause in fighting will create momentum toward achieving a lasting and sustainable resolution that restores enduring peace and stability throughout the region.
