Bangladesh embassy urges nationals to leave 14 Beirut areas amid security concerns

Bangladesh Embassy in Beirut has issued an urgent advisory asking Bangladeshi nationals to move away from 14 areas in the Lebanese capital amid fears of possible attacks.

The directive was issued on Thursday through an emergency notice, urging expatriates to relocate to safer locations without delay.

In this advisory, the embassy warned of potential security threats in several areas of Beirut and called on Bangladeshis residing there to remain cautious and follow safety instructions.

Those areas mentioned in the alert include Sabra Shatila, Shatila, Burj Al Barajneh, Al-Rihab, Ijnah, Bir Hassan, Hay Selloum, Airport Road, Al-Ouzai, Al-Shiyah, the outskirts of Tariq Al-Jadideh, Al-Tayouneh, the outskirts of Furn Al-Shubbak and Badaro (near Al-Shiyah).

Bangladesh embassy also advised Bangladeshis to stay in contact with diplomatic officials and closely monitor further updates as the situation evolves.
