Dhaka Auto Series 2026 begins on April 23

The three-day international automotive exhibition, '19th Dhaka Auto Series of Exhibitions 2026,' will begin at the International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB). Organized by Conference and Exhibition Management Services (SEMS-Global USA), the event will run from April 23 to 25, from 10 am to 7 pm daily.

President and Group Managing Director of SEMS-Global USA and Asia Pacific, Meherun N. Islam, told reporters at a press conference at Hotel Pan Pacific Sonargaon on Wednesday. 

He said that various brands from 10 countries including Japan, India, China, Malaysia, Germany, and the UK, along with more than 70 companies, will participate in this event with 200 booths. The exhibition will showcase new models of cars from brands such as Mitsubishi, Toyota, Mercedes-Benz, Honda, MG, Proton, Changan, GAC Motors, Dongfeng, etc.

In addition, two-wheeler brands will include Ziho Bangladesh, CF Moto Bangladesh, Longjia, Vimoto, etc. Commercial vehicles will include Foton, Forland. The exhibition will also feature motor parts and electric vehicles, including electric vehicles (EVs), from various renowned international brands.

The '19th Dhaka Motor Show 2026', '10th Dhaka Bike Show 2026', '9th Dhaka Auto Parts Show 2026', '8th Dhaka Commercial Automotive Show 2026' and '3rd Electric Vehicle (EV) Bangladesh Expo 2026' will be held simultaneously under the Auto Series of Exhibitions Bangladesh.
Sheikh Rabiul Alam, Minister of Road Transport and Bridges, Railways and Shipping, will be present as the chief guest at the inauguration ceremony of the exhibitions on April 23 at 12 noon.

Meherun N Islam said that due to the ongoing global war and the increasing disruption in the supply system of conventional fuels, the use of alternative energy sources is gaining importance. As a result, as the use of electric vehicles (EVs) or electric vehicles is increasing, the use of new and relatively affordable technologies in this sector is also gaining importance.
