Chhatra Dal's Mansura secures BNP nomination for reserved seat

The Bangladesh Nationalist Party has finalized its list of candidates for the reserved women seats in the 13th National Parliament.

Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi announced the names on Monday at the party's Nayapaltan central office. 

Among those nominated is Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal leader Mansura Akter. In an immediate reaction, she expressed her gratitude in a Facebook post, writing, ''All praise is due to Almighty Allah.''

Mansura Akter currently serves as vice president of the central committee of Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal and is a student of the Law Department at the University of Dhaka from the 2012-13 academic session.
