Shippers' Council holds board meeting

1st meeting of the Board of Directors of Shippers' Council of Bangladesh (SCB) for the term 2026 and 2027 held at its own office's conference room, Dhanmondi, Dhaka on Tuesday under the Chairmanship of Md Rezaul Karim, says a press release. 

The meeting approved the minutes of the previous meeting and accounts statement. 
Besides that, The Board decided to participate in the upcoming Ocean Impact Summit (OIS) which will be held in Bali, Indonesia on 08-09 June, 2026. 

The meeting also approved salary enhancement of SCB employees and took discussion for purchasing space/building of SCB.

Senior Vice Chairman Syed Md. Bakhtiar; Vice Chairman Ataur Rahman Khan and Directors: Ganesh Chandra Saha; Arzu Rahman Bhuiyan; Mohammed Nurussafa Mazumder; Ziaul Islam; K. M. Arifuzzaman and Sorowar Alam also attended the Board meeting.
