PM on way to Jashore

Prime Minister Tarique Rahman is now on the way to Jashore for a day-long official tour there.

He reached Shahjalal International Airport from his Gulshan residence at 9:30AM on Monday. This is his first official visit to Jashore since taking office. 

During the day-long visit, Tarique will inaugurate Ulashi Canal excavation project in Sharsha upazila and address a civic reception there.

Later, after offering Zuhr prayers and having lunch at the Jashore Circuit House, he will lay the foundation stone of Jashore Medical College Hospital and visit Jashore Institute Public Library.

In the afternoon, the Prime Minister will address a public rally at Jashore Central Eidgah Ground, organised by the district BNP.

He is expected to return to Dhaka by air in the evening after completing his engagements.
