Foreign woman 'beaten to death' in Gulshan

A female foreign national has allegedly been beaten to death in Dhaka's Gulshan.

Her body was taken to the Continental Hospital on Tuesday morning.

The deceased woman has been identified as 67-year-old Shameem Salim Kashim. She resided in a house in Baridhara's Park Road.

Asked about the situation, an inspector from Gulshan Police Station said they had heard reports that a foreign woman had been beaten to death, but the details were still unclear.
