The party in a central executive meeting at its Paltan office in the capital, said the citizens of Bangladesh are being shot along the BSF-vigilant border points.

The meeting, chaired by the Majlis Ameer Maulana Abdul Basit Azad and conducted by Secretary General Dr. Ahmad Abdul Qader, noted: Three Bangladesh citizens were shot down along Brahmanbaria and Lalmonirhat borders last week, but the Bangladesh Foreign Ministry has yet to summon the Dhaka's Indian High Commissioner, urging  the government for immediate steps at the diplomatic levels.

The Majlis expressed concern over rising incidents of murder, drug abuse, juvenile gangs and snatching across the country, alleging also of irregularities and extortion in Eid-franked cattle market leasing.
