Extremism has no place in Islam: Speakers

Speakers at the Imam Azam Conference on Saturday said that Islam strictly rejects extremism and terrorism in all forms, describing such acts as completely forbidden (haram) in Islamic teachings.

They noted that according to the Holy Quran, killing an innocent person unjustly is equivalent to killing all of humanity. 

In remembrance of Imam Abu Hanifa (RA), organized by Chhipatoli Darbar Qaderia Chishtia Aziziah Alia Sharif and managed by Anjuman-e-Qaderia Chishtia Aziziah Central Council, the discussion was held at the National Press Club, according to a press release.

Principal Abul Farah Muhammad Farid Uddin Al-Qaderi presided the conference while Kazi Muhammad Moinuddin Ashrafi, Dr. Allama Syed Abdullah Al-Maruf, Allama Muhammad Abul Qasem Noori, Dr. Muhammad Abdul Karim, Principal Allama S.U.M Abdus Samad, Dr. Ahsan Ullah (Ahsan Saeed) and Maulana Mohammad Shafiul Azam.
