Delhi fire leaves 5 Bangladeshis injured

Five Bangladeshi were injured in a devastating fire in Malviya Nagar area of New Delhi, where several people were killed and many others injured, according to the Bangladesh High Commission.

In a statement issued on Wednesday, the mission said three of the injured Bangladeshis are receiving treatment at Max Hospital in Saket, while the remaining two are undergoing treatment at Safdarjung Hospital.

The Bangladesh High Commission said it is maintaining round-the-clock contact with the relevant authorities and closely monitoring the condition of the injured citizens.

Expressing deep condolences to the families of those who lost their lives in the incident, the mission also conveyed its sympathy to all those affected by the fire and wished the injured a speedy recovery.
