3 arrested in Rashed killing case in Khulna

KHULNA, June 3: Police have arrested three youths in connection with the murder of Rashed in the Labanchara area of Khulna City.

The arrests were made during overnight drives at different locations in Khulna on Tuesday night, police said. However, the main accused, Imran, remains absconding.

Earlier, the victim's father, Anisur Kazi, filed a case with Labanchara Police Station (PS) on Tuesday night, naming seven accused and four to five unidentified persons.

The arrested persons were identified as Montu Hawlader, Musa Gazi and Miraj.

Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Labanchara PS Syed Mosharraf Hossain said the victim's father lodged the case naming seven individuals who allegedly took part in the killing mission, while several others were listed as unidentified suspects.
