Fahmida Afroz named best UNO in Natore

GURUDASPUR, NATORE, June 3:  Gurudaspur Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Fahmida Afroz has been named the best UNO in Natore District, earning widespread appreciation and pride among local residents.

Since taking office, she has gained public trust through her administrative efficiency, transparency, integrity, and humane approach to leadership. Her initiatives in anti-drug campaigns, ensuring government services reach citizens' doorsteps, speeding up development activities, and resolving public complaints quickly have been widely praised.

She has played an important role in strengthening land administration, education services, social safety-net programmes, law and order, environmental protection, and the implementation of development projects in the upazila. She is particularly noted for ensuring transparency in project implementation, taking a firm stance against corruption, and conducting public awareness campaigns, establishing herself as a proactive and responsible administrator.

Local residents say she has built a strong bridge of trust between the administration and the people. Her quick response to public grievances and commitment to a citizen-friendly administration have distinguished her from others.
