
Ingredients:
Football Cake
*10 oz. Unsalted Butter
*1 cup Powdered Sugar
*7 count Egg
*1 cup Cake Flour
ase Cake
*100 count Egg
*1 cup Sugar
*15 tbsp Cake Flour
*3.5 cup Cocoa Powder
*1 tsp Baking Soda
*1 tsp Baking Powder
*1 tsp Salt
*2.5 oz Heavy Cream
*3.3 oz Butter, Melted
Method:
1. Preheat oven at 350°F / 180°C
2. In a large mixing bowl, add in egg and sugar. Turn the mixer on low speed, then add cake flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, baking powder, salt, heavy cream, melted butter and mix until batter is smooth.
3. In a large flat baking pan, brush the pan with butter and cover the baking sheet on top of it. Pour cake batter onto the baking pan. Bake at 350°F(180°C) for 15 minutes. Take out and cool down at room temperature.
4. Beat the unsalted butter, and sugar at high speed. Add 7 eggs gradually and beat until a soft peak formed.
5. Pour the batter in a parchment paper lined round dome shape baking pan, and make sure batter is evenly spread.
6. Bake at 350°F(180°C) for 45 minutes to 1 hour. Take out and cool down at room temperature.
7. In the bowl, beat heavy cream and sugar at medium speed until pale and fluffy.
8. Begin by stacking a few layers of square cake, just as you would to make a regular layer cake. Spread a thin layer cream between each layer of cake.
9. Frost the cake with white whipped cream.
10. Decorate the top with green piping gel to make it look like a grass field.
11. Add a 3 inch metal ring on top of the cake. Decorate with green piping gel.
12. Pour the cake out of the dome cake mold. Spread a thin layer of cream on top. Remove the excessive until it looks like a dome.
13. Use a pentagon shape mold to form a football like pattern on top of the dome cake.Decorate with white and black piping gel on top
14. Place the dome cake upside down on top of the metal ring of the base cake.
15. Assemble the other dome cake on top to make it a football cake. Repeat the same steps to make another half of the ball.
16. Decorate the base cake with cookie sticks.
