A mild earthquake jolted different parts of Bangladesh, including the capital city of Dhaka, on Thursday night, June 11, 2026.
The tremor, felt at 9:40PM, was a magnitude of 4.5 in Richter Scale.
Data from the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC) confirmed that the epicenter of the earthquake was located in Shilchar in India, which shares a border with the Karimganj area of Sylhet, Bangladesh.
No immediate casualties or property damages have been reported from any part of the country while writing this report.
