BRAC Bank premium customers to enjoy international healthcare services

BRAC Bank entered into a partnership with the International Medical Information Centre (IMIC) to provide international healthcare-related services to its Premium Banking customers and selected credit cardholders.


Eligible customers under the partnership will receive preferential rates, healthcare packages and assistance services for treatment at hospitals in Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, China and India, said a press release on Saturday, July 4, 2026.


The participating healthcare institutions include Samitivej Hospital, Sunway Medical Centre, Mount Elizabeth Hospital, Gleneagles Hospital, Farrer Park Hospital, ICON Cancer Centre and Guangzhou Fosun Hospital, among others.


The agreement was signed at BRAC Bank’s head office in Dhaka. Representing the bank at the signing ceremony were Armeen Ahmed, Head of Proposition, Premium Banking; Rasif Al Karim, Head of Debit Cards; Ashraful Alam, Head of Alliance; and Ehsan Samad, Senior Manager, Premium Banking.


IMIC was represented by its Chairman Farzana Wali Liza, Managing Director Maruf Hassan and Coordinator & Director Muntasir Mamun.


Speaking at the event, Mahiul Islam, Deputy Managing Director and Head of Retail Banking at BRAC Bank, said the partnership aims to provide eligible customers with access to international healthcare providers through dedicated assistance and associated benefits.


According to the press release, the collaboration is part of BRAC Bank’s Premium Banking programme and is intended to expand customer services beyond conventional banking through healthcare-related support.
