Fire at fabric warehouse inside Adamjee EPZ

A fire broke out at the fabric warehouse of Ananta Apparels, located inside Adamjee Export Processing Zone (EPZ) in Narayanganj, early Wednesday.
According to the Fire Service and Civil Defence, the fire news was reported at approximately 4:10AM.
A total of nine firefighting units are currently working to bring the blaze under control.
The cause of the fire and the extent of the damage could not be determined immediately.
Meanwhile, journalists who arrived at the scene to cover the fire incident were reportedly barred from entering the EPZ premises by the Bangladesh Export Processing Zones Authority (BEPZA).
