Chatmohar Municipality declares annual budget

CHATMOHAR, PABNA, July 16: Chatmohar Municipality Administrator and Upazila Assistant Commissioner (Land) Faisal Mahmud declared the proposed budget for the 2026-27 fiscal year at the municipality office on Thursday afternoon.

Officer-in-Charge of Chatmohar Police Station Md Oliur Rahman, Upazila Health Complex RMO Dr Humayun Kabir, Youth Development Officer Md Abdul Mabud, among others, were present at the open budget session.

Municipal BNP President Md Asaduzzaman Arshed, Organising Secretary Sheikh Ziaurul Haque Sintu, Chatmohar Press Club President Helalur Rahman Jewel, former president Rakibur Rahman Tukun, journalists Iqbal Kabir Ranju, Bakul Rahman, and others participated in the exchange of views on the problems, prospects, and development of the municipality after the budget announcement.
