A young female protester was seen weeping and pleading with folded hands before police officers during a demontrastion at Jantar Mantar. This Emotional moment was witnessed following a police baton-chrage during a ‘March to Parliament’ organized by the Cockroach Janata Party (CJP). Anandabazar reported.

The viral video showed, an emotional protester confronted a female police officer. She folded her hands and asked whether the officer would treat her own child the same way. ‘We are just like your children.’ She pleaded while emphasizing that violence was unnecessary. Later she was escorted away from the crowd.

Previously, CJP called for the march to demand the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan over the NEET exam paper leak incident. Around 10,000 people, including students and supporters, gathered at Jantar Mantar.

Police baton-charged and threw tear gas to disperse the crowd as the procession moved towards the national Parliament. Several protesters were injured during the process.

The video was shared widely on X (formerly Twitter) by a user named 'Saurav'. It drew significant attention, sparking anger, sympathy, and emotional reactions across social media platforms. Netizens condemned the police action, highlighting the pain of the affected students and calling for fairer treatment of young protesters.
