US completes 13th night of strikes on Iran, Trump weighs major offensive

The United States carried out its 13th consecutive night of strikes on Iran, as President Donald Trump said he is considering a “massive attack,” warning that Tehran has not “received enough pain yet.”

Trump said he is close to deciding whether to resume large-scale military operations against Iran, signaling a possible escalation in the ongoing conflict.

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi strongly condemned the US actions, describing them as “mindless aggression.” He warned that further military action would only force the United States to pay a “heavier price” instead of bringing the conflict to an end.

Meanwhile, explosions were reported in southern Iran, including on Qeshm Island. Iranian authorities have not yet provided details on the incidents or any casualties.

The conflict is also raising concerns across the Gulf region. Kuwait’s military said it intercepted Iranian missiles and drones, although no damage or casualties were immediately reported.

The United Kingdom said its armed forces are prepared to defend the country against any potential threats after Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) warned over the use of UK military bases by US bombers.

The latest developments mark another escalation in the confrontation between Washington and Tehran, with fears growing that the conflict could widen and further destabilise the region.
