The July Mass Uprising Memorial Museum is scheduled to be inaugurated on Wednesday (August 5), with Prime Minister Tarique Rahman expected to formally open the facility at 9AM.
Officials concerned said that although the inauguration date has been finalized, the recruitment of museum staff has not yet been completed.
According to the Ministry of Cultural Affairs, the museum will be opened to the public immediately after the inauguration ceremony.
Earlier, the ministry had sent a proposal seeking the prime minister's availability for the inauguration. The Prime Minister's Office recently confirmed August 5 as the date for the official opening.
