US Special Envoy Sergio Gor calls on PM

Visiting US Special Envoy for South and Central Asia Sergio Gor has paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister Tarique Rahman.

The meeting began at 9:30AM on Saturday at the Prime Minister's Office in Tejgaon.

During the meeting, the two sides exchanged views on Bangladesh-US bilateral relations, expanding trade and investment, regional cooperation, and other issues of mutual interest.

Foreign Minister Khalilur Rahman, State Minister Shama Obaed, Prime Minister's Adviser on Foreign Affairs Humaiun Kobir , PM’s advisers Rehan Asif Asad and Mahadi Amin, among others, were present at the meeting.

US Ambassador to Bangladesh Brent T. Christensen also attended the meeting. SouthAsians & Diaspora

The US Special Envoy for South and Central Asia arrived in Dhaka on Thursday afternoon on a three-day visit.
