PM reaches Matarbari in Maheshkhali

Prime Minister Tarique Rahman reached Matarbari in Maheshkhali upazila of Cox’s Bazar on Sunday morning to inspect several major development projects in the area.

He arrived in Matarbari at around 10:30am, after departing Tejgaon Airport in Dhaka at 9:15am for Maheshkhali.

During his visit, the prime minister is scheduled to inspect the Matarbari deep-sea port, one of the country’s mega projects, the coal-fired power plant, and the activities of the Maheshkhali Integrated Development Authority (MIDA).

The visit is aimed at reviewing the progress and ongoing activities of the major projects in the region.

PM to visit Chattogram, Cox’s Bazar today
